SPRINGFIELD, PA – Representative Bill Adolph (R-165) and Representative Tom Killion (R-168) announced today that they have received the endorsement of the Philadelphia Building and Construction Trades Council representing more than 12,000 union members from 24 area unions.
“Representatives Adolph and Killion have shown strong support for working families and job creation and we are proud to support their re-election efforts,” said Danny Kubik, Chairman of the Delaware County Committee of Philadelphia Building and Construction Trades. “The 12,000 men and women that make up our affiliated unions recognize the hard work and commitment of these legislators. They are dedicated to the working people they represent and deserve re-election.”
“It is an honor to receive the endorsement of the building and construction trades,” said Representative Bill Adolph. “Through increased investment in our deteriorating transportation, water and sewer infrastructure, we can address the long-term needs of area residents while spurring the creation of new jobs for working families.”
“I am an advocate of bringing business and labor together to work together to create jobs and spur increased economic development,” said Representative Tom Killion. “I thank the building and construction trades for their support and vow to continue to work on behalf of the working men and women I represent.”
The Delaware County Committee of Philadelphia Building and Construction Trades represents 12,000 members which includes union electricians, plumbers and carpenters, among other trades. The local unions that are members and are supporting the candidates include:

Representatives Adolph and Killion have worked together to champion a number of issues during their tenure, including the environment and open space, economic development, education, medical malpractice liability reform, and job creation.
Adolph is seeking re-election in the 165th Legislative District, which includes portions of Marple, Morton, Radnor, and Springfield. Killion is seeking re-election in the 168th Legislative District, which includes Media and Rose Valley boroughs as well as Edgmont, Middletown and Thornbury townships, parts of Newtown, Upper Providence and Nether Providence townships, and Westtown in Chester County.
